Interesting that everyone so far has gotten a different result (my own, by the way, was pretty on target). Lynne, I must say I've had a soft spot for maples ever since I learned how important that tree was to the economy and culture of the fascinating Iroquois, or Haudenosaunee, peoples of North America--they even had an annual festival devoted to maple syrup.
