Hiya girls! I've never seen anything like that. At least my mom has never baked anything like it. But it does look kinda yummy! I love everything chocolate, ya know... ;D

Summer temperatures have hit Germany at last, and we are having the family over for barbecue right now. That's one of my little cousins next to me. Mom has to entertain her guests!!!

Like Anke, I've never seen cakes like these, too. Esp. the first one looks very uncommon to me. I think most people in Germany bake chocolate cake in a rectangular form. It's called "Kastenkuchen"

We have BBQ tonight, too  :) But no guests today, just the five of us. 10 minutes ago my kids were playing in the garden like yours.
It was about time for the weather to get warm and sunny.

Thanks, we had indeed. And we're planning a whole day out tomorrow. Watching our eldest playing in an outside handball tournament, picnicing with friends and parents of fellow players, enjoying the sun, cheering like crazy for our girls...
