To help commemorate our achievement of reaching our 1,000th resident, we have a special call-in line you can use to record your message of 30 seconds or so to congratulate all of us for reaching 1,000 folks on here. I'll put these together into a special presentation, so don't worry about any "uh's" or pauses or mistakes - I'll edit them to make you sound great!
A sample message might be, "Hi this is (your screen name/name) from (location) sending my congratulations to everyone in BetterMost for reaching 1,000 residents." Then take some time to say what the community means to you, send shout-outs to the folks you see here everydays, or whatever else you want to include.
If you are going to send a message in a language other than English, can you send along a translation so we can include a transcript.
Now, the call-in line we've got is in Wyoming, and has about the most bizarre bleeps and bloops and ring sound I've ever heard. It sounds like Wyoming circa 1960s on the phone, but once my greeting starts everything is fine. I have no idea why it is doing this, but apparently the call it being routed all up and down the mountain. Just sit tight and you'll hear my greeting eventually.
The number is: (307) 224-4040
