I do not know if I ever saw such a tree, even when I was in Texas!
You have one tree?
Or pic of it?
Are these like orchards?
Hugs! I think that the USA is becoming poorer and poorer... and pray that pecans can help keep or increase its stability !! Can it help??

Not in my yard, there are some in the park that I daily jog in. Just go to google internet images and I am sure you can call up an image of a pecan tree.
It is the official state tree of Texas, for what its worth.

where did you stop in TX? and when did you visit TX?
Artiste:
Thanks, I do not remember exactly.
At least twice!
Or more!
Once was in the sixties!
The 70's!
Can not remember more for now!
Since my nephew goes to Texas at times now to work there, maybe I can ask him to take me a pick of an pecan tree?
I love love to know of there are orchards of these? You know? Areas... you can name?
Hugs!! Oh, will Texas now do clone beef?? Raise these?
brokeplex:
the trees grow throughout the state, except in the desert areas in the trans Pecos region. I will find you an internet link so that you can see a pecan tree, the nuts of the tree are much better than the appearance of the tree.
