We haven't had a photo in a while.  Here's a silly one:

LOL, it occurs to me that I might as well post this here.  Yesterday, for another thread I found myself posting about Jake's quirky habit of sticking his tongue out a little bit at sometimes odd moments.

And, I discovered that at EJ they have a whole thread devoted to this habit of Jake's called "Jakelicks" and it's about 53 pages long over there!

Anytime I catch myself pressing my tongue to my upper lip pensively, or catch anyone else doing anything similar, I always think of Jake.

Unfortunately, I don't know what the context of the bottom pic is.  I don't recall if that thread over at EJ included info about the context of the picture. 


So, this habit makes me wonder if the gesture by Jack in BBM (in the main instance in the post-divorce scene, particularly) is really just a Jake-thing.  Or, in other words I wonder how deliberate that tongue gesture was in the minds of the filmmakers/ in the direction given in that scene, etc.  Or, maybe Jake did it subconsciously as part of his normal habit and Ang Lee liked it (or something like that).
