Some of us jumped into that very river last July.  Granted, we were wearing wetsuits, not our birthday suits.  It didn't seem that cold to me, but I'm used to the North Atlantic anyway.

LOL

My kids jumped in there too last summer when we went rafting. They told me it was very cold, despite the wetsuites. Not too cold for you huh? Tough guy... ;D

Hahahaha, somehow I don't think Cape Cod qualifies as the North Atlantic. The North Atlantic is out there where the fishing boats go...LOL

That screencap reminds me of that scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid when they realize that to escape their pursuers they have to jump off a huge cliff. Sundance gets all nervous and confesses he can't swim. Butch bursts out laughing and says, "Swim!? Hell, the fall will probably kill ya!"

I bet thats' what happened behind the scenes in BBM. Jake was nervous about doing a nude scene, and Heath said, "Hell, the fall will probably kill ya!"

When I was in high school in Connecticut there was a jumping cliff in my town that hung over a "deep" (or I should say deep-ish) creek.  High school kids were routinely hauled off to the hospital after seriously injuring themselves following jumps into the water.  It was a really, really popular hang-out spot.  But all of those incidents have made me skiddish (or have given me a low startle point) where it comes to the question of jumping off of cliffs into water.

If it was me, I'd be too afraid that there were hidden rocks under the water (or something like that) that I couldn't see.  I don't think I'd be able to go through with that jump off the cliff depicted in BBM either.

I remember that scene! My second favorite pair of cowboys - oh yes, they are :)
Laffed my a$$ off when I saw it last year.
