I got this pic in an e-mail. (I guess I'm cynical--I always check "Snopes".)

This one was true according to Snopes. Here is the story about it:

Awww. That poor baby hippopotamus! He was swept away from his mother and then he was carried out into the ocean by the tsunami.  :'(

I'm glad he found a mother in the tortoise. It said the turtle hiss at him during the beginning, but they are very good friends now. Thanks for sharing that story Shasta!  :D
