The hampsters and the guinea pigs are too cute!  One of my hampsters escaped its little globe today, but thank goodness a visitor to our house found and captured her.  Rita had a little adventure in the larger world, but I think she was happy to be returned to her home.

LOL, Susie. Rita at large!

Better watch Bebe and Happy, Chuck. They might wanna explore outside the ball, too.

Oh, btw, we had to seperate Caramel and Rainbow last night.

Caramel (male guinea pig) is much more outgoing than Rainbow (female guinea pig) so we put their cages side by side, in the hopes that Caramel's activity would help bring Rainbow out of her shell a bit.

Well, we don't know if Caramel was angry and feeling threatened that another guinea pig was in his "space" or if she got him all hot and bothered, but he was going nuts.....squealing, chattering, jumping about, standing up on his hind legs to look at her, and it was just toooo much.

We moved him to one side of the table, placed her on the other, put one of the hamsters between them, and now he seems to have calmed down.

I never heard so much racket before.

Ever notice how people like to offer you food even though you might need to lose a few pounds all in the name of hospitality?  My hubby thinks they are trying to fatten us up since it is easier than losing weight themselves.  He may be on to something there.     Size is relative, after all.  Opposite of what you are saying, but I always disliked dating very skinny people.  Nothing made me feel larger than standing next to a beanpole boyfriend, especially one who could eat and eat and eat and remain stalk-like.

Was thinking of your theory of weight transmutation, Susie, ... as in ... get together with a skinny person and the weight will shift from me to them. 
But your hubby is right. It would be better to date someone really big.
... On the other hand. If YOU'RE right .......
