Dental update.

The reason I went to the dentist was because last week, when I was flossing, a small piece of one of my molars broke off.  There was no pain, and it's not sensitive to hot or cold, but I wanted to get it checked.

After the scheduled cleaning, the dentist ran some x-rays and told me that the tooth has a hairline fracture in it, and since the majority of the tooth is filling, and not tooth material, that I need a crown.

He's assured me it will be fine until he returns from his holiday traveling, so on Jan. 13th (two days before my 40th bday) I'll be getting a temp crown.

oh, the joy!   ;D
