Hiya BetterMost friends.

Happy Hump Day to y'all!

;D

Fat Smash Diet is working it's magic again!  I'm back down to 220lbs after being on it for only 2 days.  ;D  5 more pounds and I'll be back down to the weight I have listed in my personal ad.  Truth in advertising and all that.

According to my travel calendar, today's stop is La Mezquita, in Cordoba, Spain.

Will you play my record? One-track mind!

How is everyone doing today?

Well, according to my travel calendar, there are mulitple things to do today!

The entry is titled "Great Train Snobbery" and is as follows:

If you aspire to join teh elite of global railway connoisseurs, be sure to experience the Blue Train in South Africa, which snakes through some of South Africa's greatest scenery.  For even more bragging rights , add these other great trains to your list:

Palace on Wheels - India

Trans-Siberian Express - Russia

Glacier Express - Switzerland

El Tren a Las Nubes - Argentina

How is everyone doing today?

Well, according to my travel calendar, I have only one spot to see today!

Antartica!

A visit to a penguinm rookery, whose tuxedoed residents number in the tens of thousands, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, yet it's just part of the adventure in this surreal, ethereally beautiful continent.  Ice seems limitless and the sky and sea blend into a milliion shades of white and blue.

What does everyone have planned for the weekend?  Saturday is my high school bud's son's bday, so I'll be at the house for that.  I thought it would be rough on my diet, they usually do heavy foods.  However, he's told me they plan on having deli wraps and salads, so I'll be just fine.

;D

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Yesterday I was at a birthday party.  It was my friends' son's birthday, he turned 12.  I got him a gift card to Dick's Sports Store, I figured that was something he could use and would want.

I did manage to avoid a lot of high calorie foods there yesterday.  I had no chips, no beer, no soda, no pizza, no crackers.  I had a few pieces of cheese, and some deli wraps.  Chicken ceasar, or turkey & swiss, very tasty.  They also had a long Italian style sub that was sliced into small segments, I let myself have one segment.  Of course, I had a piece of the bday cake, but it was very small.

It was good to see old friends again.  ;D

Today is an easy day.......slept in, surfin' the 'net, and just finished a green salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
