Chuck, can you give us any more deets on your date for tomorrow?

His name is Bobby, he's 48, lives about 45 minutes from me, and we're going out for Cuban food for lunch tomorrow.

;D

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Good for you!  I was de-friended by TWO people today!  One was absolutely expected, but I haven't figured out the second.

I figure it's either a conservative TN high school friend who is tired of my gay rights links or a fellow Brokie who is tired of my AIDS Walk fundraising - LOL!!

I suppose there's a third possibility, being stalked by someone with nefarious purposes who decided I'm 'mostly harmless', to quote Douglas Adams.

I don't think so.  Usually, you simply notice you now have 4672 friends instead of 4673.

No, you can't tell with FB. Marcia de-friended me as I expected and good riddance.

The other is a mystery.  Although I've noticed this number can fluctuate by one or two at any given time. I don't think it is ever 100% accurate.

There is this one evangelical Christian from high school (he was Methodist then) who alternately friends and de-friends with regularity; I just go with his flow; he rarely posts. I seriously think I offend him, then he returns to try to save me, rinse and repeat. It is pretty sad because he is one of the most isolated, lonely people I can think of - and also as deep in The Closet as one can be with the door shut and locked. :/

But how do you know who it is, if FB doesn't tell you?

I don't think I'll ever understand how FB works!  ::) ;D

LOL at the though of trying to save you, but also very sad the way you describe it.

you can check your friends list, and see that she's not on it.  i think that's the only way.
