You know Chuck, if you need a travel partner for all these destinations, feel free to inviet (and pay!!) for me! :p

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Well, here we are again, back at Monday!

Bleh!

I can't complain though, it was a good weekend, and I started off today with a light breakfast and a workout.

;D

The weekend's tavel destination for my  calendar is St. Lucia

Tourism is vital to Saint Lucia's economy. Its economic importance is expected to continue to increase as the market for bananas becomes more competitive. Tourism tends to be more substantial during the dry season (January to April). Saint Lucia tends to be popular due to its tropical weather and scenery and its numerous beaches and resorts.

Other tourist attractions include a drive-in volcano, Sulphur Springs (at Soufrière), the Botanical Gardens, the Majestic twin Peaks "The Pitons", A world heritage site, the rain forests, and Pigeon Island National Park, which is home to Fort Rodney, an old British military base.

The majority of tourists visit Saint Lucia as part of a cruise. Most of their time tends to be spent in Castries, although Soufriere, Marigot Bay and Gros Islet are popular locations to visit.

Today's travel destination is Luang Prabang, Laos.

Most places in Laos are apt to take you back in time, but this is especially true in somnambulte, temple-filled Luang Prabang in the mountainous north.  Hundreds of safron-clad Buddhist monks inhabit its thirty pagodas, and in its unpaved back streets, roosters roam and children play.

Hey, folks.  :)

I think that going on a date should be thought of as the 'real' world.
And the daily grind, to keep body and soul together, something else.

.... Unless one prefers going to work, of course.  ;D

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Well, we made it through Monday!  How is everyone?

I'm keeping busy at work, and staying sane, so I guess that's good!   Snow is lightly falling right now.  We're not expecting any big accumulation, but it looks pretty out.

According to my calendar, today's travel destination is Salamanca, Spain.

About 15,000 students study in the lovely old city of Salamanca, Spain, which has been a center of learning since its university was founded in 1218.

I can't think of the last time I used or heard the word "inbetwixt".

Good to see ya, Rob!!!  Keeping body and soul together, huh?  Yeah, sometimes that can be a challenge!  As for prefering going to work, I don't get paid to sit around and look good, so I do what I gotta!  ;)

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Greetings from snowy NJ!

;D

I believe they are predicting 6 - 9 inches of the white stuff here today!  It just won't stop this winter!  Well, at least this summer they won't be talking about water shortages.

I heard that in Ma. they're expecting 18 - 24 inches today!  :o

So maybe we need to be someplace warm right now.......

According to my travel calendar, today's destination is Fiji!

The many islands of Fiji deliver on their South Seas promise with green hills and waterfalls, colorful villages, and an exceptionally friendly and hospitable people.  Gorgeous palm-fringed beaches lead to warm waters rich in coral and colorful sea life, and snorkeling and diving that is some of the Pacific's best.

It's good to see you all today!

My goodness!  We have another foot of new snow here!  At this rate, we're running out of places to put it!

I guess it's appropriate that this is the travel stop today on my calendar.

Davos and its twin city of Klosters offer top-of-the-lijne skiing for all levels.  Perched at 5,120 feet, Davos is Europe's largest ski resort, while Klosters, smaller and a bit lower, offers an attractive alpine village where you'll want to unpack your bags.

Wow... have you had a snow day at all since the bout of snow before Christmas or have you made it in every day?
