Hiya BetterMost friends.

Happy hump day to you all!

 :-*

Today's travel destination:

Sea of Cortez, Baja, Mexico.

Each winter sees migrating whales come to the warm, shallow waters of the Baja Peninsula for breeding and calving.  Those who come to see them can sometimes even touch them as whales approach the watchers' small boats and kayaks.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Heya Chuck, I think this is the first place you've mentioned from your calendar that I've actually been to.   ;D  And it was quite stunningly peaceful and beautiful.
Dawn is coming,
Open your eyes...

Hiya BetterMost friends.

How is everyone today?

Who has good plans for the weekend?  It looks like (for me) Sunday is a free day.  Saturday will be my brother Mike's 40th bday party.

;D

Today's travel destination:

"Hidden Cities"

Follow explorers and archaeologists into the ruins of onece-forgotten cites, like the ancient rose-red city of Petra, Jordan, whose existence was reported to the world by a Swiss explorer in 1812

Other hidden cities include:

Machu Picchu in Peru, shown to American Hiram Bingham by a local boy in 1911

Angkor Wat in Cambodia, stumbled upon by French botanist Henri Mahout in 1860

Cahokia mounds in Illinois, not recognized until 1960 as ruins of a large city

Tikal in Guatemala, discovered in 1848 by Ambrosio Tut, a forager for chicle gum

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Wow!  My blog was quiet yesterday!

Where is everyone?  I hope you're all out partying!!!!  but, then again, if you were, that means you didn't invite me!

 :o >:(

Speaking of parties, I'll be at my brother Mike's place tomorrow for his 40th bday party.  I have to remember to get a card today.

Today's travel destination:

The Cape Winelands, Western Cape, South Africa.

Within easy reach of Cape Town, the major estates and small, sophisticated towns of the Western Cape make delightful stops on a meandering wine tour.  Historical Cape Dutch homesteads are set against a bold backdrop of granite-peaked mountains, forests, and rolling vineyards.

Good afternoon, Chuck!

Your blog's not completely quiet now.   ;D

That's a very pretty-looking travel destination.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

How is everyone today?   Greetings from rainy, wet New Jersey.  It was soooo nice yesterday.  I actaully went out to the park for my exercise instead of doing a tape or the gym.  It was good to be out in the air with my MP3 player and enjoying it.

After the park, I went back home and got ready for my brother's 40th birthday party.  I got there about 4 and stayed there until about 10:30 or so.

Today is a lazy day, but I do have some "projects" I need to get done for Monday.

Lent starts on Wednesday, does everyone know what they are giving up or doing extra?  I'm starting my Lent on Monday, and it ties into my project.
