Hope that everyone is doing well and having a great weekend!

Today was busy!

I got up early, went to bowl, got home, showered and shaved, drove to the casino and gambled (I didn't win :laugh: )and now I'm catching up here.

Oh, I'm also invited to a bbq tomorrow, so I went to a gourmet cupcake place and got a dozen stuffed cupcakes.  I picked out:




The three across the top:  Red Velvet -  Red Velvet Cupcake Filled With Vanilla Mousse And Topped With Cream Cheese Icing
The one next to the RV, and two beneath it:  Black & White -  Vanilla Cupcake Stuffed With Chocolate Custard, Topped With Vanilla And Chocolate Icing
The two next to the B&W, and one beneath it:  Chocolate Overload -  Chocolate Cupcake Filled W/ Chocolate Mousse & Topped With Chocolate Icing & Chocolate Jimmies
The three with marshmallows on top:  Mellow Nights -  Chocolate Cupcake Stuffed With Marshmallow Mousse Topped With Chocolate Icing And Marshmallows

Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.


The frist full-scale classical Chinese garden ever built outside of China, the Sun Yat-Sen garden, completed in 1986 is an exquisite re-creation of a 14th-centrury Ming oasis.  Most fo the materials, from thenaturally sculpted rocks to the tiles on the pagoda roof, were brought from China.

I was multi-tasking last night, trying to juggle a bunch of activities and phone calls!  I still have to pack for the trip to Boston!


Today's travel destination:

Biarritz, Azuitaine, France.


Once the resort of kings, where Napoleon III and his empress, Eugenie, came to take the waters, Biarritz sits on a stretch of rugged coastline where the mighty Pyrenees step into the Bay of Biscay.  Today the wind and waves at its beaches make Biarritz the unofficial surfing and windsurfing capital of Europe.
