Yaaaaaaaaay!!!!!  It's Friday, it's pay day, and it's "Leave for Boston" day!  A quick stop to the bank, and then to NYC to pick up Meryl, and then we're off!

Today's travel destination:


Shimla, India


The awe-inspiring view of the Himalays was only one attraction for the 19th-century British rulers of India who made Shimla a favored summer resort.  The greater pull was the cool temperatures at 7,000 feet above sea level.  Left behind for visitors today are Victorian architecture and gardens, and that same idyllic climate.

Ok, for those who were there, and those who weren't, Jack is talking about my TomTom directional device.  I had it with me in my rented van for the rodeo in San Fran.  It had the default voice on it, but everyone started talking about how funny would it be if it had a stereotypial gay voice.

Well, I found one!

I downloaded it to the TomTom last night, and it's getting the test run today!   :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Well, here I am, back in my cube at work.   >:(

Nice surprise, however, it's still clean!   :laugh:   I usually find a pile of stuff left for me, but this time, they did it all themselves while I was away!

It was such a great weekend, it was wonderful to see Brokies again!  It had been a while since I'd seen Paul, Lynne, Meryl, Debs and John.

To see them and get the added bonus of seeing Brokies who I had been missing even longer (Sandy, Jocelyn, Donna, Andrew, Ronny, Jay (Donna's boyfriend, a Brokie by default.  LOL) was a great treat!


Today's travel destination:

The West Coast Trail, Vancouver, Canada.

The West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island is a 47 mile stretch of forrest, cliffs and rope bridges that captivate hikers from around the world.
