Hiya BetterMost friends.

Weekend is closing in!

;D

What's new and exciting?

I got better sleep last night, thank God, and I'm feeling more awake today, so that's a major plus.  Had a silent phonecall from a Brokie today.  I was on my way to work, and I heard "The Wings" coming from the back seat where my Blackberry was.  I got to work and saw Sue (MaineGirl) called me.

I listened to the voicemail, but it was dead air.  She butt-called me!

For those who don't know the term "butt-called" it came about when people would put their cells in their back pockets, and would sit on them, hitting certian buttons which would result in a phone call to someone, and that someone would only heard dead air, because the phone was in a back pocket, and it became known as the "butt-call".

I'm on a mission to find the new "M&Ms".  LOL

Supposedly, they are a special variety that will only be sold at Wal Marts.  They are white chocolate (which I love) and the shells are white, orange, or yellow, the colors of "candy corn" and will only be sold for the Halloween season, maybe the Thanksgiving season as well.

Today's Travel Destination:

Clifden, Connemara, Galway, Ireland.

The tidy, picturesque town of Clifden, with Victorian houses adn a few of Clew Bay, serves as the "capital" of Conemara, a ruggedly poetic corner of Galway that is mostly wild, and uninhabited, with peat bogs and rocky coasts.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Morning, Chuck!

I was in Connemara about 30 years ago.  It's famous for its green marble, frequently used in making jewelry and souvenirs.

I was in Connemara 16 years ago. To me, it's famous for its ponies.

I once sang an opera in which my character came from Connemara (Riders to the Sea by Ralph Vaughn-Williams).  So I've been there in spirit.  :)  ;)
