Wow!  I'm late today!



It was busy today....we had some computer issues, and then I found out that one of my RMs had scheduled a loan closing, forgot to tell me, so I had to run around like a maniac until noon when the funding took place.

I'm sooooo glad that the day is over!


Today's travel destination.


St. David's Cathedral, St. David's, South Wales, Wales.

People still flock here by the thousands as they did in the Middle Ages, when St. David's Cathedral ws one of the British Isles' most popular pilgrimage spots.  Wales' most sacred stie, it is also one of its most visually evocative, set in a remote and tranquil part of the valley of the River Alun.

Hiya Kelda, yeah, it does look pretty!  perhaps I'll go there one day!



Today was busy!  I slept in until about 10am.  Then I helped my parents with the ceiling in the kitchen.  It's a drop-ceiling, and when we had our leak in the bathroom, a number of the tiles got stained.  After the bathroom was redone, we waited for a few months to make sure there were no more leaks....and now that we're sure there aren't, we redid the whole ceiling.  We took all the old tiles out whether or not they were stained, and replaced them all.  It looks soooo much better.

After that, I went out with my friends and their kids to go pumpkin picking, had a lot of fun.

Tonight, I'm going out dancing with some friends in Brooklyn.

Tomorrow, I'm sleeping in, and then going to a christening later in the afternoon.

Well, here we are!  Back at Monday!

 

I'm soooo tired!  Friday night I went out shopping, Saturday morning I helped my parents with the ceiling in the kitchen, Saturday afternoon I went pumpkin picking with my friends and their kids, Saturday night I went dancing in NYC and to see performances by Arlene & Nyasia.

Sunday I was at a christening, and then had to help mom and dad with the set up of their new VCR/DVD player.  By the time I was done with that, it was time for The Walking Dead, and then bed.  Of course, my brain was wired, so I couldn't drift off to sleep, and I'm completely tired today.  Hopefully sleep will come easier today.

Graceland Too, Holly Springs, Mississippi.

Elvis Presley memorbilia - posters, cardboard cutouts, records, souvenirs, newspapers, and more - jams the weatherbeaten antebellum mansion called Graceland Too, the obsession of an avid Elvis fan named Paul McLeod (that might be his son, Elvis, who opens the door).  Presley's Mississipp hometown, Tupelo, is about 60 miles away on the historic parkway known as the Natchez Trace.
