We also talked last weekend about globes and world maps, so here's my collection.

Globe book ends:

An old globe (regular construction materials) with outdated countries:

And a globe made with types of stones:

World maps, in one form or another.

A wall tapestry:

A glued-together jigsaw puzzle:

And a still-to-be-opened (maybe never-to-be-opened) 9,000 piece jigsaw puzzle:

Hiya BetterMost friends.

So is everyone ready for the weekend?  ;D

After last week's busy weekend, I think a quiet one at home is just the ticket.  ;D  I hope to get more work done on my stories!

I'm glad you will have some time to rest this weekend, and that it won't all be walking.  How long is "The Valerie Fund" walk?

Not long at all, only about 1 or 2 miles the most.

Chuck...Paul invited me to post a few pics here, so he could see them.  Hope you don't mind.

Not at all!

Thanks, Chuck, for lending us your blog.

Anytime, brother!  :-*

I may be dense,

May?  ???   *runs from Sonja*

but why on earth would you put a puzzle in the fridge???

Being honest, that's the first time I've seen a puzzle in the fridge as well.  It may be because the puzzle has been glued together permanently, and the cold temps help the glue to set firmer.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Hi, Sonja!  Mostly because I was looking for a place to keep it, and didn't have any other flat empty spaces at the time.  A friend suggested putting it there, and it looked pretty neat.

And because it has a laminated surface now, it's protected from the things that normally sit on top of it, such as the milk bottle.

That's good!  That doesn't sound like it would be too much, Chuck.

Now just hope for good weather that's not too hot.

I'll be back to walking soon...have been taking a little rest since getting home from Boston.

You'd better run fast, Chuck!

Or else I'll slap you with your towel that you put out in the rain to "dry"!   8)
