I'm curious....did any intrepid trick or treaters come to your door?
I did my usual sneaking around my dark house after work and watching tv in my bedroom.
I don't encourage kids to come to my house because I don't buy candy as I know who would get to eat most of it! ::)
Hope your everyday life gets back to normal!

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend!

Yesterday NJ started rationing gas, using an odd/even system.  If the last number on your car's license plate is an odd number, you can buy gas on certain days.  The other days belong to cars with even number plates.

On the 8th I'm leaving to the UK for the Brokie gathering.  I'm hoping that by the time I return home, everyone will have power and the rationing is done away with.   I currently have a full tank of gas, and I don't conceive of going through it on just Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, so I don't need to worry about that.

I can't remember what day "Halloween" is supposed to be now.  It hasn't happened yet, but I have candy set aside if trick-or-treaters to come.  If they don't the extras will come to work and shared with coworkers.

Everyday life is getting back to normal, slowly.

I'm posting earlier than I usually do here, as I may not have the time to do so from work.  I have only three days before I fly out to London.

With not being at work last week with the storm, my cubicle is a mess and I have three days to get everything done that I need to.  Ugh!  I'm hoping that I'll be able to get into the building very quickly, and then get right to work in my cube.

I'll be getting my exercise tonight.  "Halloween" was postponed to tonight.  My family is out, so I'm the one doing the candy shift.  LOL 

I'm in the basement, but our doorbell is very loud, so I left a sign on the door letting trick-or-treaters know I'm in the basement, and can hear the bell.  If they ring it and wait a few minutes, I'll be up to bring them candy.

I've been up the stairs three times so far.  LOL  I've had about 6 kids.
