So what exactly did you buy? A poster? Three comics?

Reminds me of the Big Bang Theory episode I watched last week, where they go to a costume party as several superhero characters. Exactly the first five chracters from the left in the second pic, plus Batman. :laugh:

Ah yes, the return of the work week.  Bleh!

I'm in the office, avoiding the display of muffins and bagels that are put out by one of my coworkers for his birthday.  I'm pretending they're not even there.  Today the scale said I lost 12 pounds, so when I lose one more, I will have lost 5% of my body weight.  If I do it by tomorrow, I can say I did it in 20 days.

I have to leave the office at about 9:30 or so, I need to get back to town for a dentist appointment, to have a small cavity filled, and then back to work to finish out the day.

They are three different panoramic posters that I merged into one image to post here.  They are reproductions of the super hero characters I watched each Saturday morning as a kid, the Super Friends.





Top pic is "All New Super Friends".....Superman,  Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin, Aquaman, and in the center, their trainee heros, the Wonder Twins, who were shape-shifters.  (1976-1977)

The middle pic was the next season (1977-1978) "Challenge Of The Super Friends".   Heroes were added to make the cartoon similar to Justice League, and three "ethnic" heros were added to break up the "whiteness" of the show.  However, the ethnic heros were given names that matched their ethnicity, and not their powers.  The line up was (l to r) Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash (super speed) Green Lantern (power ring) Hawkman (flight and bird-like senses), Samurai (turns into wind, and becomes invisible), Black Vulcan (electricity), Apache Chief (grow to 50 feet tall) Robin & Batman.

The last pic is from the same series, the villains, The Legion of Doom.  (l to r) Lex Luthor, Brianiac (super android), Mr. Freeze (freeze ray gun), Giganta (grows up to 50 feet tall), Bizzaro (reverse Superman), Grodd (super intelligent gorilla), Cheetah (cat like reflexes), Sinestro (yellow power ring) Riddler, Black Manta (undersea villain), Toyman (uses toys/gadgets for crimes), Scarecrow (master of fear) and Solomon Grundy (zombie super villain)

Yup, 6 days into March, and we have a snow storm predicted.  Predictions vary wildly....according to one of my friends on Facebook we can expect "anywhere from a wintery mix to a blizzard".

 :laugh:

Most predictions fall between 4 - 8 inches here by me.  ;D

The bad weather is supposed to start this afternoon, and the skies are already grey and full of clouds.  I wouldn't be surprised to see it start sooner.

It would be nice (to me anyway) to say "good-bye" to winter with one last storm.  ;D

All the dire predictions of the weathermen and women were all completely off from what I can see, not a single flake fell overnight.

I didn't sleep so well last night, feeling tired today.  Ugh, I hate that feeling.

I should sleep better tonight, but won't go to bed much earlier, Glee is on and it's a movie episode, so that means all movie music.  Commercials featured "Shout" and "Footloose".
