Cellar Scribblings

The property manager met with me today, and showed me the place.  It has new paint on the wall, new carpet in the living room, new floor in the kitchen, new oven and frige.  Decent sized livingroom, smallish kitchen, but good amount of cabinet space.  Bedroom is decent-sized and has two closets in it, in the walls so no space is lost, plus a linen closet.  There's a laundry room in the basement, and there is storage space for me to use there too.

He says he has a few different people who applied, but they are younger, he likes my age, that I'm single, no kids, no pets and don't smoke.  He gave me an application, and I'm dropping it off tomorrow after work for the whole credit check thing, I should hear from him next week.

He says if I get the 'green light', I can move in for May 1st, but he would give me the keys early so I can move my stuff into it a little bit at at time.

Now this sounds great! Hope you'll get the apartment, fingers crossed and all that

Well, here we are, back at Monday, back at work and back in my cube.  Ugh!

Weekend was a good one, visited with friends, and of course saw Brokies on Saturday in NYC, that's always a good thing! 

No word yet on the apartment, but as soon as I hear anything, you'll know.

Yes, Saturday in NYC with Brokies was very nice.

I realized I need to keep a closer eye on your blog because I'd gone since November without reading it (too busy too many other places).  But last night I finished catching up.  Just in time to leave town again next week.
