So you posted on my blog (someone who works at a bank) a flashmob that is protesting the banks.

 

Well, I found it on FB, and my first thought was to post it to you there.

Then I had second thoughts when I remembered your coworkers are your FB friends.... 

I thought your blog would be a safer place to post it! 

Actually, it was a pretty cool flash mob!

That's what I thought too!

I loved the song, and the fact that there were no musical instruments, just the song and the hand clapping accompanying the dance.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Yup, it just figures.....the week that I'm supposed to move, the car needs to go to the shop!   

On the way to the birthday party Saturday night it started making a loud rumbling noise.  I think it's the muffler.  I let my dad and brother Chris (the car fanatic) listen to it, and that's what they determined.  The car doesn't feel like it's running any differently, so I'm assuming it's nothing major like the transmission.

Friday is the day I sign the lease for the apartment, I'll be leaving work at 2:00 to be at the signing at 3:30. 

My brothers and sister-in-law will be around on Saturday to help me move, so that will be fun, and an expense as I'll do a "thank you" dinner for them.

Speaking of expenses, I also got a new computer for myself, it's a touch screen Gateway, and I really liked it in the store.  It's in the box, and will stay there until I'm ready to set it up.

Another expense, I'm looking at a site called greendisk.com, it's a place where they recylce all your 'magnetic' media, meaing I can get rid of all the stupid VHS taps and CDs I no longer listen to/watch.  By CDs I mean the ones I've burned, not my store bought ones.

I need a small entertainment center for my TV & DVD/VCR, but other than that and the sofa bed, I think I'm pretty well set.

Thank you, darlin'!   Yes, I had a blast on Saturday, did a lot of dancing, and here is a pic of my "dark fairy" outfit.

Not a great pic, and the stupid wings are causing my shirt sleeves to bunch up, but worth a few laughs.

A date is not set yet, but I assume it will be sometime in May, once his schedule clears up and I'm settled in from my move.
