That means you're officially moved in, right Chuck?

Congrats!!!    :-*

I am officially moved in.  ;D

Shopping spree today resulted in computer chair, coffee table, two floor/pole lamps, surge protector for the electronic stuff, shoe 'tree' that hangs on the back of my linen closet door for added storage, light bulbs, and all purchased with two gift cards, so none of my own money was spent.

;D

Tomorrow the couch and recliner arrives, and then it's just a matter of getting curtains, new bedding, and putting everything where it belongs.

Oh, I forgot to share this story with you all.

You may recall back in August of 2011 I had posted about the firemen (hotties in uniform) had showed up at my office 4 days in a row.  First for what we thought was an electrical fire on a Monday, then on Tuesday for the East Coast earthquake, then on Wednesday and Thursday for false alarms.

Today was my first day in the new apartment, and imagine my surprise to see the fire trucks at one of the buildings.  When I entered my building, I could smell gas.

Not sure what the issue was, but the firemen determined the cause, fixed it, and all was good.

having hotties in uniform to welcome you to your new place is quite a surprise.  :D :D

Are you sure you are not accidently on purpose doing something to procure these visits from these hunky firemen???

Wow!

I was away from the computer most of the day.

The couch and recliner arrived today, and then I went out shopping for bedding and curtains.  I got most of what I need, but still some shopping to do to hang the curtains, the rods I got sag under the weight of the curtains, so that won't work.

I also got four pictures hung in the living room, and all my Super Friends stuff hung in the bedroom.

;D

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Friday was pay day!  I didn't post this because I wasn't at work yesterday.

The apartment is just about done.  Closets are set up, the pics and animation cels are hung.  Groceries have been bought.  Today I'll set up my CDs, and tomorrow the curtains get hung.

;D

Boy are you fast, Chuck!    ;D

When I moved here, it took me months to get everything done.
I didn't mind, I really enjoyed every little thing that got done and watching my home getting more and more complete.

Sooo, tell us, how did it feel to sleep under your own roof (well, sort of) for the first time?
