Hello Bettermost friends!

I'm keeping the image from yesterday, according to the weather reports today we may hit 100 degrees in my area.   Ugh  (37.7 Celcius).

Thank you God for central air!  LOL   I left my blinds closed and my drapes shut, and when I got home yesterday the air conditoner had kept everything cool.

Bowling went well last night......no major big scores, but I did meet some new people, that's always fun!

I also ran into the the bowling "kinda sorta maybe" boyfriend and we talked.  I don't think things are going to change, but I have no problem going out with him if he calls, at least until someone more exciting comes along.

YOU KEEP YOUR THERMOSTAT AT 65 ?  :o :o :o  Is electric included in the price of your rent?  Or, if not, have you gotten your first bill yet?

I keep mine between 78 and 80 in the summertime in Missouri (also 90's and 100's), and the bill is still around $100 a month.

I pay $900.00 a month, and that includes water, electric and central air.

;D

Hello Bettermost friends!

Yup, that sums up exactly how I feel today.  I think I needed more sleep!

After today my supervisor (Maria) leaves for three weeks to Spain, so I'll be running the show with respect to printing reports and such.

I had my 6 month review yesterday with her, and she said everything is going well and she sees little that I need to work on.  Happy about that.

So, what is everyone else feeling like today?

Well, it's payday, and my breakfast egg had a double yolk, so not so bad altogether.  :)

I had 2 phone calls yesterday, one real good and the other not so good.

When I was in Switzerland I dropped my 8 day Swiss Pass on the 4th day and spent hours searching for it. I had to pay on trains, boats and cable ways for the next 4 days and it cost 295 Swiss francs. I made a claim on my travel insurance and they rang to say they are putting 418 NZ dollars into my bank account. I have been paying them nearly every year since 2006 but you never know how good they are until you need to claim.

Then in the afternoon my doctor rang to say my PSA (prostate blood test) has gone from 0.8 to 5.6 so I have to do another one in a month. This happened about 6/8 years ago and it was a false alarm so fingers crossed.

Hello Bettermost friends!

Ok, not really, I am in control of the bodily functions.

But it is Friday, and about 1 1/2 hours before I leave to go home.   ;D

My supervisor (Maria) left for Spain last night, and I assume she's safely on the ground.  I was able to run the reports she normally does very easily, and it's been slow enough that I've caught up on a bunch of stuff.

Well, it's payday, and my breakfast egg had a double yolk, so not so bad altogether.  :)

I've heard of the double yolk thing happening, but never seen it.

Happy Friday, FRiend Chuck!

Right back at ya, FRiend Lee!   :-*
