After today my supervisor (Maria) leaves for three weeks to Spain, so I'll be running the show with respect to printing reports and such.

I had my 6 month review yesterday with her, and she said everything is going well and she sees little that I need to work on.  Happy about that.

Hi, Chuck!

Congratulations on your good review, that's great.

Good luck with the extra work while your supervisor is gone.

Hi to everyone!  It's always good to come back and catch up with what people are doing here.

An hour of 99 Red Balloons?  LOL.

This reminds me of when a local radio station was changing hands.

There was a period of about a week when it was neither the old station nor the new station.  During that week they played Chumbawumba's "Tubthumping (I get knocked down...)" song over and over and over again.  For a full week.  24 hours a day.

I got a kick out of it.  And it's not nearly as annoying as "99 Lead Balloons".

The ony ting similar for me was once when I was driving and the classical music station played Ravel's Bolero twice in 2 different versions. I thought that was wonderful  ;D

Pay day is here, and not a moment too soon, I had $5.00 to my name!  LOL

I am surprised someone your age uses cash. I feel old as I try to use cash for anything under $20 but I see young people using their plastic for a cup of coffee or a hamburger costing less than $5. NZ is now introducing tap'n'go which has been in Australia for a few years where you no longer need to sign or pin for any amount less than $80. You just tap your card on the machine. You can even buy an app for your cell phone that does the same. I prefer to pin.

Fixed it!   Neener!

Oh, it's raining, and they're playing "Singing In the Rain!"  How clever!

The latest apartment purchase.

It will be a little tight, but now I can host dinner parties of 8.   ;D

The best part, when I'm not using them, they fold up and fit right under the bed.  No storage issues.   ;D

That's a great idea to get foldable tables, Chuck.

And it looks nice too. I really like the colour of the table cloth.

But I wonder if your apartment doesn't come with a storage room?
