Yup, the candy jars are full again, but they don't look anywhere near as good as this assortment.  :laugh:

I just realized that next week is the last week of August, and then Labor day, so a three day weekend is coming soon!  Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Oh, and then I have my friend coming from out of the country, she'll be my first out of town Brokie guest!  ;D  The sofa bed will come in handy now!

First day back at work went well, and I managed to stay on top of everything, and I still have an empty cube.

It's funny Kelda, all my coworkers will donate funds to the candy supplies, but for some reason, I'm the only one who will go and actually shop for the stuff.  When I leave for vacations I make sure the jars are full, otherwise they will be completely empty when I return, with everyone going through chocolate withdrawal.

I say, Let 'em. I don't think it's right that they should always expect you to keep the candy jars full. If they're too lazy to take turns buying the candy, let 'em suffer the consequences. Maybe they'll learn.

Jeff, I don't mind doing the shopping, as long as it's not always my funds paying for it.

Besides, if they shop, they get the same stuff over and over.  I mix it up, sometimes twizlers, sometimes white chocolate, sometimes sour candy....I keep 'em on their toes.

LOL  Can you imagine having one of these at work?  Nothing would ever get done!   I'm wishing I had one of them right now, I'm feeling a little tired, late night bowling and all.  Ugh!



There is a woman here who loves this commercial!  She laughs hysterically about it, and every Wednesday now she imitates it.

Oh well, whatever makes her happy!  I found a few pics from the commercial and printed them for her cube today.  She'll find them when she comes in, in about 25 minutes or so.

Hello Bettermost friends!



Yes, the same pic as yesterday!  I wanted to get good sleep last night, and went to bed my usual time (10:00).  I fell asleep immediately, and then at 2:30am the building's fire alarm went off for no reason.  Woke me (and I assume everyone else) up, and then I couldn't get back to sleep, I tossed and turned for probably an hour before falling back asleep.

End result, I'm tired again today!  ::)

I took the above pic, and found a pic that she had in her cube, of her and her daughter, so I made of copy of the family pic, cut my coworker's head out, and taped it into the pic above, over the face of the woman in the camel pic.  It looks so funny!

Well, it's Friday and pay day, and that's how I feel!  :laugh:

I suppose the fact that the team leader/big boss and his assistant are out today doesn't help!   There are a few people on vacation as well, so the office is very quiet today.

I do have a few things to get taken care of, but I'll whip through them, no problem!  Saturday is my niece's birthday, I'm thinking a gift certificate to a drug store and then another for baby supplies would be a good gift.

Sunday will be the usual laundry and lunch.  ;D

anyone doing anything extremely exciting?
