Yup!  It's Mischief Night.  LOL  I am staying indoors tonight.  Everything I needed to get done I got done, and now I'm safe, away from toilet paper, eggs, shaving cream, and all the other stuff that goes on.

I'm meeting friends tomorrow just to hang out, and have fun on Halloween, looking forward to it.

Work was not too crazy after being away for the weekend, although there were 130 emails waiting for me.  bleh!

So, a happy Halloween to you all!

I can't wait for the weekend, just so I can clean up and rest!  LOL  I did some mild cleaning on Friday morning before leaving for Boston, but of course when I got home I just dumped stuff around, and didn't put it where it belongs.  Now aside from my usual cleaning, I need to deal with the trip stuff too.

 ::) :laugh:

I'm going to a friend's house tonight, have a bit of dinner and give candy to trick-or-treaters.  She asked me to bring a tray of cookies, so I picked some Halloween ones up today on the way to work.

How is everyone else doing?

I believe that today is a holiday for all or some of the Euros, correct?  Just another day here, on a secular level.  Catholic schools are closed, and those who practice have a "holy day of obligation" to observe.

For those who have never heard the term, in the Catholic Church, holy days of obligation or holidays of obligation, less commonly called feasts of precept, are the days on which, as canon 1247 of the Code of Canon Law states:

On Sundays and other holy days of obligation, the faithful are obliged to participate in the Mass.

Moreover they are to abstain from those works and affairs which hinder the worship to be rendered to God, the joy proper to the Lord’s day, or the suitable relaxation of mind and body.

I think Mom and Dad will be at mass today.
