Am at Sydney Airport waiting to board the Emirates flight to Christchurch. Cannot get into DCF, not sure if DCF or the airport is the problem but obviously can get in here.  Could not get into IMDB either to report on my viewing of Mr Turner yesterday.
 Will keep trying but supposte be boarding in about 15 minutes.

Just discovered the airport has blocked DCF but not Bettermost. How bizarre.

That is bizarre, but I'm excited to hear your thoughts on Mr. Turner. It didn't play in Denver at all, despite being named one of the best films of the year!

I'm keeping the pic of the baby today, because I think he's too cute.



So far it appears to be another slow day at work.  I left my normal time yesterday, but the people I report to left early, so I was able to relax a bit and just enjoy the afternoon.



I ran to the market and got the stuff I need to make my strombolis, and I'm aleady ready.  I can just shoot home after work tomorrow, have a light supper, and then head out to the party!

I love it when a plan comes together.

Of course

I usually don't listen to that "Little Christmas" or "Epiphany" stuff, and take everything down when I feel like it.  This year, however, with the weekend so close to NYE and NYD, it just seems too soon to take it down that weekend, so my stuff will stay up a little longer.

DCF wasn't having any problems yesterday.

Here at the office, hoping for a quiet day!   Yesterday was a little on the busy side, but I did manage to get everything done.  Today I hope to do the same!

Leave at 3:00, maybe take a nap, cook my strombolis, and go to my party.

all went according to plan yesterday.    I got to leave work at 3:00, picked up some liquor, took a nap, baked the Stromboli, got to the party on time, and had a lot of fun.

Didn't sleep in as long as I would've liked, but that's ok.  Maybe catch a nap today.

Spent the morning cleaning the apartment, getting things in order, getting rid of some things I no longer need, and will start 2015 with a fresh start.

Yup, that pic pretty much describes how I feel.

I didn't sleep well last night, and I went to work feeling exhausted.

Despite that, I managed to get to work on time, and it was very slow.  At work for 6 hours, I had 3 emails and no phone calls, and I left the office at 3.  I managed to get about 90% of the year-end stuff done that I wanted to, and the rest will easily be done by Monday.

Plan to do some shopping on Saturday, need some calendars, and maybe some new music.  We'll see.   Other than that, a nice, quiet weekend ahead of me.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Why is it when you have no money, everything you want to buy is right there, but when you have gift cards, you can't find anything?

I got $400.00 in gift cards, and I wanted to go out and get two new pairs of shoes, and a new pair of sneakers.  Of course, I went to a few different stores, and found nothing.



I may go out again tomorrow and try again.

I did manage to get three new calendars, 2 for work and one for home.
