Earlier this week I started to put lights on the pine tree on the end of the driveway at the house. I stopped because I couldn't remember how I hooked up the extension cords last year. I also couldn't remember if it was safe to plug a two-pronged extension cord into the "female" end of a three-pronged extension cord, so I took off the lights I had put on the tree.
I've been assured that it's safe to plug the extension cords together that way, so yesterday I started putting lights on the tree again. I had to stop because it was getting late. I hope to finish the job today, a little later after (I hope) it warms up some, as it has gotten very cold here.
Then comes setting the timer the lights are attached to. Timers defeat me. Last year my dad had to set it after I put the lights on the tree. Maybe I could find a YouTube video.
