Is that one of those gay detective novels that they make into movies with Chad Allen, the kid from Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman who grew up to be gay? Or is it something else?

It's a mystery, it has a police detective and yes, he's gay. But it hasn't been made into a movie--yet!--and I'm not sure Chad Allen would be the right type.

Sure enough! Now Voyager, the bookstore in Provincetown, has an entire wall section devoted just to gay mysteries.  :)

I'm sure there are many great stories out there, but I think my all-time favorite will always remain the Nathan Aldyne quartet from the early 1980s, Vermilion, Cobalt, Slate, and Canary.
