It was zero degrees when I got up an hour ago. Now it is up to 4. The bonus is lots of sun!

Bonjour !!

It's 65 here and I am off to the store soon, on a Saturday, life sucks as my kids say. Emma is at a gymnastics meet with her father. So Matt will either stay here or come into work with me.
I keep telling myself, only 6/12 to go until I hit 50, yikes !!!  but the I can get 25% of my pension and bring the money over here, which will help. Of course the exchange rate is bad now, unlike a few months ago when I would have got nearly $2 to the pound.

The Weather Channel is still insisting that it's going to snow in Philadelphia today. Here it is already ten past noon, and nary a flake. Why am I not surprised?  >:(

The cold spell still continues and now our house is struck by it. :P

No warm water anymore. Parts of the water pipes/heating system are frozen. We still have cold water and the heating works. Thank God for that.

Wish me luck that it won't get worse.

You poor thing. I can remember that back in England, no hot water and it was miserable. I have everything crossed you will keep your heating and cold water. I love snow to look at, I am not keen on living with it though.
You should be O.K the bad luck fairy seems to be resting at my house for a while !!!!
