Love the pics of your home town, Mon.
Beautiful indeed. Is it at a lake, or is this actually the sea?
One more Scotland pic before logging off for the time being. I won't have internet at the next cottage (yes, I'm already packing to leave tomorrow morning. Too bad, I'd like to stay a few days more, it's so cute and so much to do in the area. But I guess I'll love the next one, too.
Anyway, we took on a big hike yesterday. 14km, 430m climb, 5 hours (including breaks).
Now if I can do the same in 2000m altitude, I'm prepared for Moose Mountain.
Anyway, the trail lead mostly across sheep pastures (!).
As we saw thistles, I explained to my kids that they are the national flower of Scotland. Without missing a beat, my youngest returned: "Yes, and the national shit of Scotland is sheep shit."
I almost fell off the mountain laughing!
Attached a pic of the scenery on our hike.
