Poor Bobby! What was it she wrote on those cards? She stuck cards all over the house. What did they say? I couldn't read the one on the bathroom mirror. Were they quotes from scripture or something?

The ones that she was reading were Bible verses.

For that time--in the 80's--his siblings seem to be very understanding. I wonder if they really were that way? His parents, misguided as they were, seemed to love him and not reject him as their son when they found out. But they don't understand much.

It's set in No. California Shasta. The movie was filmed in Detroit, but Bobby lived in California. I forget the name of the town.

Signourney Weaver is really good as the mother, but I think Meryl Streep would have been an excellent choice too. I can easilly see her playing the part of the mother.

He's going to his cousin's in Portland. That's good. (I think.) She seems nice.

Maybe not the best idea to have his friends from the Rocky show meet him at his house. LOL.
