Update to "Home for the Holidays" - this concludes this story.

“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”

The next question is: what is next?

This concludes our holiday event fics and I can go back to our slightly skewed timeline.

Which means we have to go back to two events:

1) The wedding reception
2) Nick moving in.

Since most of you have been clamoring madly for the wedding reception fic I will write that one next.  And I think all of you J/N fans have been momentarily sated!

hehehe.  And unless my internet gets A WHOLE LOT BETTER REALLY QUICK I am not going to promise to work on two of them at once because that will drive me bonkers very shortly.

Enjoy!

If any of you have any ideas on a poll we can put up for fun in the meantime, I thought that last poll was really fun.

And I said POLL not POLE.  You all have very dirty minds!

...  my knees do not like me today, and it's Wednesday and everyone in Deutschland knows what that means... no doctors or pharmacies on Wednesday afternoons.  Little things us Americans routinely forget.

So I am trying to make do with pain pills, which doesnt help mobility, just gets me through the time till I can get the dang arhritis pills... if only I could find that secret cache of over the counter ketoprofen from America where they sell it for ten times the price but at least you don't need a prescription.  sigh...

Those stairs out to the car seem to be a long way down.

As a fellow sufferer I know just what you're going through. For the unitiated the following little poem says it all!

Knees

Ellery’s got a painful back
It sometimes feels he’s on the wrack
Ennis’ leg bones in his ear
could mean he will no longer hear

But geez
you never want to know
just how it feels
with painful knees

It’s like an iron plate is bolted
on your kneecaps
which has halted
any movement and resulted
in some painful jolts and mishaps

Like some rusty nails attached
to loudly creaking bones
that grate together night and day
in time with all your moans!

But do not fear
a little pill
can make it better
and dissolve
the bolts and nails
and iron plate
And that is quite a thrill!
