Avid Systems has put up
a nice but somewhat technical web
discussing the editing and special fx done on the film with some interesting backround on some of the personalities involved including Geraldine Perroni.
Avid is one of the preeminent film editing sytems available today and is the one used by Buzz Image Works (see
the Special Effects link
I pasted up earlier) on their work doing BbM.
You might like to poke around in the rest of Avid's site. It will give you some talking points the next time you debate the merits of Adobe Premier Elements/Production Studio with some knowitall at a cocktail party. .

Thanks balrog, good readin'! Good to have you around these parts.
The article never said that Geraldine Perroni committed suicide.
