You guys are cracking me up.

Okay ... more pictures of our Jake ... hot off the presses! This cracks me up!

His expression in all of these lately says this to me:  "Oh, Jesus Christ.  There he/she is again."

I just have to say once again that I don't envy the famous.  At all.  Well, except for those individuals who happen to be famous who have made out with Jake.  I envy them.  A lot.  But for that only.

No more beans!

Here is what someone who went to an early screening of Jakey's next release had to say:

....Ruffalo's always been a favorite of mine, but the shocker here is Gyllenhaal who I've never liked in anything till this. His boyishness really suits the character and it's impressive just to watch how tired and haggard and paranoid he gets by the film's end. We really watch him age in a very realistic way (as opposed to the porno `stache and bad wig in Brokeback Mountain). Gyllenhaal has a great scene w/ John Carroll Lynch in a paint store where almost nothing is said between them but it's just such a startling and expressive moment of physical acting.

And don't forget, Jake will be filming "Rendition" this fall with Reese Witherspoon! That film sounds muy bueno!

Jane, it's not that I don't like seeing Jake's acting praised - but someone who hasn't liked him in anything till now must be pretty weird. Possibly also completely blind. (And I always start bristling when people diss the makeup and 'stache in BBM  >:( ). Hopefully this means that his acting in Zodiac is so utterly and unbelievably off the charts that even the grumpiest, most biased, most negative of bitter nay-sayers have to just give in and give praise where praise is long overdue!

of course that is what it means Mikaela!!   :D  I would not have posted it if the writer was not praising Jakey, and of course the guy is blind to Jake's magnificence in the past, just shows that he has come to his senses is all.....

You know, there's really no justice in the world! How come such a Jake-clueless and obviously undeserving person gots to enjoy an early screening of Zodiac/Chronicles, - while the lot of us, who truly could have appreciated and evaluated those many finer nuances of Jake, have to wait and wait and waaaaaaait?

Not that I'm impatient or anything......  ::) ;)

Edit: Diane, congrats on reaching 700 posts!  :)

I am not sure Mikaela, but I think it helps if you live in Los Angeles....    ;D
