Oh, I say "another actor" just because I think it would be cool if he ended up with a really cool non-actor/regular person type.  If that's what would make him happy, of course.  On the other hand, who do we all most often end up with?  Generally someone we work with or go to school with, right?  Who else would have so much in common with him as another actor?

My husband has a funny way of rationalizing how so many romances like the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie thing happen.  He says, "Well, it's like this.  Imagine your job is someone telling you "Pretend you love this person.  Pretend you love this person.  Pretend you love this person."  Then, that job ends and they say "Now stop."  How is that possible?  I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often."

Yeah, totally. Ask any am-dram group member and I'll bet a good number of their partners have come from the group. They're like little families and the bonds are really strong, especially those you're doing a production with. One time I did a play where my character was romantically involved with another character - I didn't much like the other actor to start with, but by the time the play was performed 3 months later we we're going out together! It's practically impossible to spend that much time 'pretend' kissing someone without starting to feel something for them!
