Leslie - If you're jonesing for biscuits and gravy, get thee to a Cracker Barrel!  I know they've made it as far north as Massachusetts.

Yes, I know. No Cracker Barrels in Maine, though, and to be honest, I am not sure they are worth a trip to Massachusetts! LOL

No Red Lobsters in Maine, either. Maine is the only state in the US without a Red Lobster. I wonder why....

Not worth a trip, but if you're passing through, you can get some fried okra too!  ;)

   That powerful Lobsterman's Lobby, I s'pect  ;)

Shepherd's Pie

I just had some in NYC while waiting to meet Meryl.  And a Guinness.  Come to think of it - that was a whole day of comfort food - Dunkin Donuts to start off and Taiwan noodles and red wine to end...wonder if I got enough carbs in?  :D

More like, it was just not well patronized. We had one Red Lobster here for a few years and it went out of business. The location is now a TGIFriday's (I think). I don't go there, either. LOL

Circus Peanuts, 100% sugar and artificial colors. I get a bag of those, sit in the car and eat every one of them.

I LOVE french fries with mayo!
It's my favorite! Everyone always looks at me like I am crazy when I eat it.
At McDonalds or Chick Fil A they always ask if I need Ketchup. I say no, mayonaise please.
The looks I get! LOL

MMmmmmm.....I love those. They have an interesting texture. I like maple nut goodies too. They can stay in the car without melting.

I also love 'em with Mayo.
Or with both, ketchup and mayo. It's called Pommes rot-weiß (=french fires red-white) here.
