It's funny how songs can take you back to places in your mind. I was just listening to "Because of You" by Reba McEntire and every time I hear it I feel like I am back in San Francisco. It seems like that song played from the time I got there until the time I left. I know it didn't, but I think what happened was that it was the first song I heard when we went into the Sundance. I guess that was the point in time that the trip began for me. Then I remember when we pulled into the rodeo and guess what was playing, the same song. That night the first song at the hotel dance I remember hearing was the same song again. I hear the song now and I see the people dancing gliding around and around. I remember so many times when I was on the trip I would feel like I was somehow in another world and I did not know at the time what I really thought of that world. I guess the whole trip was in a way such an unreal thing for me. I had never been that far away from home for one thing. Anyway, the thing is that this song will always remind me of being there and that trip. From the time it starts until the time it ends those visions will come into my mind.
