What can I say...... ::).....THANK YOU ALL OF YOU! I have had a splendid day, got someting beatiful to put in my ears from the son and my mom, a new frying pan from the hubby - he is totally aware that a frying pan isn't the best thing to buy to the wife but what the heck, she said she wanted one !!! - and a book about chockolate from my daughter.....

(Is that lingonberry preserves above?  The only reason I can guess that is because that's what they serve at IKEA!  What else is there on the plate?  I only recognize butter.)

Wow, you're something of an expert on traditional Swedish dishes!!  ;D

It sure is lingonberry, and butter. The rest is "palt", a kind of potato dumpling, and pork.

It's a regional dish from northern Sweden where Berit lives.

I've never tasted it myself.  ;D
