I don't even bother. Only one I went to was the first--the fifth-year reunion (some people already had three kids  :o).

Came time for the ten-year reunion, I was unemployed; I sure wasn't going to go back and tell people I hadn't liked and who handn't like me in high school that I was unemployed!

At twenty years I just wasn't interested. I never heard anything about the twenty-fifth.  ???

I really did not hang around with people during my high school years (which probably explains a lot about my life now  :-\ ). I spent my after-school hours with my nose in a book or in front of the television. The high school years were not good years. I was the proverbial fat kid with glasses, and a prig to boot. The people who were involved with what I was involved with, the newspaper, the drama club, scattered after high school and never looked back.

I am in touch with only one person from my class, and even in the case of him and his wife and kids, not as often as I should be. We both decided we had no interest in our thirty-year reunion last year.

If you have friends you are interested in seeing and can be assured that they will be there, then it might be fun to go. Otherwise, why bother?

Ya know. I didn't go to my 10yr or my 20yr.
I don't wonder, I didn't miss it. It was such a non-event.
The friends I had from highscool I keep in contact with. The rest can KMA.
I didn't care about them then and I don't now and I'm sure they feel the same.
I have no desire to see any of those people again. having to spend 4 yrs with them (some even longer from grammer school) was 4yrs too long.
I really didn't have a bad time in highschool. I had some folks that I didn't get along with and a good amount of friends. Like I said, I keep in touch with the ones I waant to.

Wow !!!!!

I guess my pov is different in that I really didn;t have any close friends, people I was acquainted with, people I ate lunch with. High School was a fairly lonely time for me, but it was part of my life. Curiosity won out and I went to the ten year and had to catch a ride home with a buddy, and guess what.......

(Yep! him too!)

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

a few years ago, a friend of mine told me this:

"Just think about this.....somewhere out there, a man is going though his daily routine....working, laundry, eating alone, watching tv, and he doesn't know it, but he's got "Chuck's Guy" stamped on his heart."

I think of that often.

hello, hope you dont mind me popping in!

Thats a lovely little comment.

Moving On

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All my life you bought me hell
but now I've grown and wish you well

All my life you made me cry
but now I look up to the sky

All my life you made me doubt
but now I've got it figured out

All my life you gave me pain
but now I've made it through the rain

I took your blows, I took your strife
dealt with all the ways you tried to ruin my life

Now look at me, somebody new
not that tired little loser
who you once abused

I've succeed in many ways
that you will never see
'cause I'm surrounded now by friends
who taught me to love me for me

All my life you gave me fears
beat me down and gave me tears

I'm glad you're not around to see
the person i've turned out to be

Through the sadness I have sailed
all of your attempts have failed

Now I turn, and I move on
and from my memories, you're gone

You should go to that School reunion and give them hell.

I have been out of school 9 years now - but i tell you what Bebo/mysapce/facebook are great ways to see what the folk you liked or dsisliked at shool are up to. Means you dont have to go to that reunion of you really dont want to that way!!!
