You have already accomplished much today, Chuck! I got to sleep in too -- I think it was about 10 AM when I got up for good -- let the dogs out at 4 and put on coffee -- then went out of commission for a good 6 hours!

Are you cooking for the celebration dinner? Tell us the menu. I like to hear about things you cook! Vicarious living is fun!

Good for you, Chuck, regarding the taxes.  I'll be getting a refund, too, and yep, the money will be going towards trips.

I do my own taxes and am starting to spread the papers out now.  Will probably work on them tonight or tomorrow.

Did you know that Madonna's date for the 1991 (or 90) Academy Awards was Michael Jackson? He actually looked very cute back then -- they made a nice-looking couple. But I don't think they ever went out again. I saw it on the 20 greatest moments in AA history or something like that.

Dinner last night was very heathy.  I managed to look away from the burgers and deep fried food, and get a spinach and chicken salad, with diced tomatoes and bacon.

Wow!

Well, I started a thread for my poems, and a thread for the music vids.

This thread will be for the day to day talk and craziness that we all love and partake in!


I copied all my poems to the "Off The Cuff" thread.  Anyone who posted comments, they are still on this thread, but please, no need to move them over as well.  I didn't move them, because they are part of the continuing convo that has taken place.  The same for the music vids, which I moved to the Music Music Music thread.  It took me about 2 hours, but damn, it's all done now!


Those of you who have enjoyed my poems, and the music polls and vids, make sure you check out the new threads!
