Thanks! I had a great time.
I wouldn't be where I am today were it not for the fine folks here at bettermost!
I have found a family here that is second to none!  ;D

I've posted some pics of me in the "what do we look like" thread, and thought maybe I should copy them here, just for the hell of it.

So here is Chuck, from about 2003 to current day.

Here are some "before" and "after" pics of me

This is me at my heaviest, 295lbs.

Here is a pic of me at autumn of 2005.  My lightest weight, 225lbs, 70lbs gone.

This is me in August of 2006, at the BBM Backyard BBQ.  I had regained 35lbs of the weight I lost, and would go on to regain another 10lbs.

And here is me at the gathering in Bay City this past February.  I am back down to my lightest weight, 225lbs.

Last pic, me in Denver, Co.  I'm at 215lbs.

My final goal is to be down to 185lbs by end of year.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Happy Friday BetterMost members!

Hope that y'all have some cool plans for the weekend!   ;D

I'm crossing the fingers that my job will let me leave at 2, because it's a holiday weekend!  Lovely, a sleep in day on Monday!  ;D :D

busy getting things ready for today/tonight, when I'll be meeting Brokies for maybe the reading (if we get tickets) and dinner afterwards!  Pics to follow after the weekend!

Holla up, and let me know how you're feeling today!

Any K T Tunstall fans out there?  I loved her songs "Black Horse & Cherry Tree"  &  "Suddenly I See".  Her new CD (Drastic Fantastic) is out now, and here is the first video, "Hold On".

Worth

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Making myself someone new
and now I know just what to do
tired of feeling lost and hollow
change the outside, inside will follow

starting to work on myself
change my physical and mental health
build up energy for the fight
see myself in a new light

I see success, It makes me high
but now I question myself why
why did I wait so damn long
to bring myself where I belong

I spent my life walking around
letting others put me down
let them have their way with me
to the point I could not see

Just how special that I am
Now I know "It's time, to jam"
gonna let myself have fun
spend my time out in the sun

Learn from the old me, it's his time to go
never let anyone hurt you so
look back on your life, from birth
realize just how much you're worth

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''

Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Yeah, but it's the same nice smile in all the pics.  ;)

I've only ever heard "Black Horse & Cherry Tree," but I love her voice. Reminds me of Annie Lennox.
