This is a dance song from the 80s, called "Hold Tight" by Pam Russo.  Was big on the East Coast.

I've always loved the message of this song, about making time for the one you love.

Got no time, to see me
I know you're very busy
but I don't mind
because I know when you get to me
you'll give me love
like no one could ever give me
I hate when you're away
but if I argue you with
you just tell me

Hold Tight
that's what you say to me
when I cry
but I'll just wait and see 'cause
tonight
you say you're gonna be my love
my love
Hold Tight

I don't know why
I love you so without demanding
more of your time
because I know you can't be with me
to give me love
Please
can we get together can we
make more time for love
so I don't always have to
hear you tell me

to Hold Tight
that's what you say to me
when I cry
but I'll just wait and see 'cause
tonight
you say you're gonna be my love
my love
Hold Tight

I just want you to be mine
all mine
one time
for my satisfaction
then you can go do
whatever you have to do
just come back
real soon
to hold me tight

Got no time, to see me
I know you're very busy
but I don't mind
because I know when you get to me
you'll give that love to me
like no one could ever give me
I hate when you're away
but if I argue you with
you just tell me

Hold Tight
that's what you say to me
when I cry
but I'll just wait and see 'cause
tonight
you say you're gonna be my love
my love
Hold Tight

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

This is an old song that many people have done, but the lyrics always remain strong as well as the song:

Let It Be Me

I bless the day I found you
I want to stay around you
And so I beg you, let it be me

Don't take this heaven from one
If you must cling to someone
Now and forever, let it be me

Each time we meet love
I find complete love
Without your sweet love what would life be

So never leave me lonely
Tell me you love me only
And that you'll always let it be me

Each time we meet love
I find complete love
Without your sweet love what would life be

So never leave me lonely
Tell me you love me only
And that you'll always---let--it be--me

Don't expect too much from my poor old heart
You can blame me unforgiven for my scars
You might just be the best that I can find
But I can't seem to forget the tears I've cried

Chorus:
I don't know that I will ever trust again
It's a price I must pay for all my sins
Time has changed me and left me full of doubt
And my heart may be lost never to be found

Once upon a time I did believe
In my true love that swept me off my feet
The wind of change swept him away
And left me drowning in my own pain

I don't know that I will ever love again
It's a price that I must pay for all my sins
Time has changed me and left me full of doubt
And my heart may be lost never to be found

Chorus:
I don't know that I will ever trust again
It's a price I must pay for all my sins
Time has changed me and left me full of doubt
And my heart may be lost never to be found

"The biggest obstacle to most of us achieving our dreams isn't reality, it's our own fear"

"Saint Paul had his Epiphany on the road to Damascus, Mine was on Brokeback Mountain"

This one makes me think about long distance loves that don't work out......

Sittin' out here on the hood of this truck, lookin' up
At a caramel colored sunset sky
Checkin' my watch, doing the math in my head
Countin' back words to when you said, goodbye
Well those runway lights are gettin' brighter

-Chorus-
I'm just sitting out here watching airplanes,
Take off and fly
Tryin' to figure out which one you might be on
And why you don't love me anymore
Right now I'm sittin' out here watching airplanes

I would've lied, could've lied, should've tried harder
Done anything to make you stay
I wonder what you'd do if you looked out your window
And saw me running down the runway,
Just like I was crazy,
That fence is too high ans so am I
it's getting higher

-Chorus-
I'm just sitting out here watching airplanes,
Take off and fly,
Tryin' to figure out which one you might be on,
And why you don't love me anymore

By now I know you're thirty thousand feet above me,
But a million miles away, a million miles away
By now I know how to act like you don't love me

But I'm just sittin' out here watching airplanes,
Take off and fly
And I'm just sitting out here watching airplanes
Take off and fly
Tryin' to figure out which one you might be on
And why you don't love me anymore

Yeah, I'm just sitting out here watching airplanes, go by, by, by, by
I'm just sitting out here watching airplanes,
Baby, but why, why, why, why
I'm just sittin' out here watching airplanes
"The biggest obstacle to most of us achieving our dreams isn't reality, it's our own fear"

"Saint Paul had his Epiphany on the road to Damascus, Mine was on Brokeback Mountain"

Marilyn Scott - The Last Day

If today were the last of all days
would it change how you feel, who you are?
would you rise for a moment, beyond all your fears
become one with the moon and the stars?
Would you like what you see looking down,
did you give everything that you could
Have you done everything that you wanted to do
is there still so much more that you would

Follow your dream to the end of the rainbow
way beyond one pot of gold
Open your eyes to the colors around you
and find the true beauty life holds

Would you live for the moment, like when you were young
and time didn't travel so fast
be free in the present, enjoying the now
not tied to a future or past

Follow your dream to the end of the rainbow
way beyond one pot of gold
Open your eyes to the colors around you
and find the true beauty life holds

You probably said all you wanted to say
but doesn't it strike you as strange
that we'd only begin to start living our lives
if today were the last of all days
if today....were the last....of all days.....of all days

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!
