If they're still up after Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, it's too late, IMO!

Well, here in the south, it is considered very  bad luck to have your Christmas tree up on New Years Day!
So, I have all the  decorations down and put away by then. Usually I am finishing up on the  31st.
However, some of my less civilized brethren feel that as long as  the tree is down they are covered and can leave their frickin lights up till next Christmas!!  >:(
But I digress!  ;D

Hey.... I'm from East Texas.  We leave em up !!!! ;D

Actually, I haven't had a tree or lights in years.  I did put a red candle out last year !! :laugh:
