I'm just back from Athens and wasn't online all day yesterday, very sorry to hear about your friend... it never gets easier.

And it is chilly in Wiltshire this a.m., so much for the balmy mornings on the Greek coast!  That is all history now, while I get ready to head off to California next week and organize my move back from Britain.

I wish we'd get a feeling of fall in the air.  Today is like a bad summer day, afternoon high temp. is supposed to be in the 80s F, and it's cloudy and muggy.   

Looks more like fall in my office (silk chrysanthemums and autumn foliage) than it does outdoors!
