Morning all,

52 degrees and ... sunny! Hooray again!

Believe it or not, one week from today, Chrissi arrives. I am beginning the house guest countdown!

Hooray! Only one week left, I can't believe it. I think I booked my flights back in November - where has the time gone :o?

I'm sooooo excited!

Fabienne: for the outdoor shower - uh, I dunno. Certainly not at 52°F, that's a meager 11°C. :o

It was actually very nice. The sun was a giant bright ball shining right in my eyes and I could smell the lilacs!

This is what I am thinking: next Thursday, I have to drive Hannah to school at 7 am (it is my carpool day). So the house will be empty and Chrissi will have all sorts of privacy to use the outdoor shower. On the way back from dropping Hannah off, I'll stop at Mr. Bagel and get a nice assortment of bagels with a couple of different cream cheeses (I am partial to the chive, myself). Somehow I have the feeling that bagels and cream cheese are not real popular in Germany (but correct me if I am wrong on that!). So after a nice relaxing outdoor shower, we'll have a delicious breakfast....

I am making myself hungry just writing about it!

We also have an outdoor shower, common in Florida where they can be used year round except sometimes a cold shower is more in order.  We have jasmine planted near ours.  My husband loves it.  Ours is private except from above, which can be a slight problem in a fly-in community where the neighbors sometimes pass overhead at low altitude.   :o

Oh, that doesn't sound too good Susie!! Is there any way you can put a cover over the top of it so they can't look in when they fly over? I was thinking you might be able to cover it with a tarpaulin or some sort of canvas sheet. It may not look very attractive but at least you could have your privacy and then remove it once you're finished using the shower.

You make me hungry, too
I love cream cheese, but haven't had a bagel yet. Looking forward to them.
