Well here in Florida having survived Tropical storm Fay, we are now waiting to see what happens with Gustav which is already at hurricane level.
The joys of a Florida summer.
Today however is glorious, hot and zero humidity, very rare for this time of year.So I am sitting outside in my Lanai on the middle seat.Those of you saw my video will know what I am wittering on about.
No beer yet though, too early.

What makes me smile is the names they give these hurricanes.
How can anything as damaging as a hurricane be called Fay. Before I am shot down in flames, I have no problem with the name in itself.But hurricanes need to have powerful names, like hulk,hydra, Zeus, etc,. Not sweet names like Fay.Gustav should be gargoyle, or gorgon, indicating the power and destruction that can be caused.!
