Well gang, I have finally spoken to Dev. She has been quite ill, and actually underwent
an optional surgery yesterday. She had what the doctors think was a benign tumor on her forehead. It was removed and it left her with quite a lot of post surgical pain last
evening. She is going to slowly recover, and hopefully that is an issue that she won't have to deal with anymore. She is still awaiting the finding from the clinic to find out if it was truly non cancerous. The doctor thinks it is, but there is no guarantee until the facts are. She is still having the pain in her neck and back, plus it is bothering her arm quite a lot. She is having trouble receiving the meds that take the pain to an acceptable level. She is having a lot less issues with her sleeping however. It is because she has finally gotten something that is helping her with that on going issue. Her daughter is still living at home with her and Bob, but she and her partner are being a great help, she says. So
she hopes to start getting to the point where she can come back to us and take part in the forum as before. I told her I would pass on the conversation we had and let all of you know how she is getting on. Plus she is dealing with the new issue she had just found out not too far back, and that is her diabetes. I told her we were all concerned about her and hope for her to get back to feeling healthy and happy soon.
