               * HAPPY BROKIEDAY TO ME!!!  *

i WILL HAVE ANOTHER ONE IN TWO DAYS.  THEN THREE MORE DAYS
  LATER.  ANOTHER.

The first day, was with my glorious grandaughter.  The second one, was by
myself.  The third one, was with my wonderful hubby.  They both liked it very
much.  However it never was an ah hah moment, like I had.
I had misplaced the video.  I have been looking off and on for three months.  I have always watched it again on my Brokieday.  The first year, however, I watched it over a hundred times.  I had also listened to the soundtrack many many more times.

Hi there,

Want to preserve the internet we know and love, and keep it an innovative force for the future?

Today, Mozilla is joining in a virtual strike with other leading public interest organizations and tech companies, from Wikipedia to Reddit to Google, to protest the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) and its companion legislation in the US House, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) -- and we need your voice.

The fact is that it's been a great couple of weeks in the fight against the PROTECT IP and Stop Online Piracy Acts -- the White House came out against them, and the growing chorus of opposition both in and outside of government has been heartening.

But the fight is not over, particularly in the Senate. There's a week left until Senators return to Washington from their districts, when their vote is scheduled on the PROTECT IP Act -- can you help make one last push while they're still nearby, by calling their local offices and asking them not to support PIPA? Get started here:

http://stopthewall.us/

And to see how Mozilla is striking -- and for other ways to take action today -- check out:

http://mozilla.org/sopa

No matter what happens, this isn't the last step -- there's currently a vote on the PROTECT IP Act scheduled for next week, once the Senate is back in session, and if it goes forward we'll be in touch with how to make the biggest difference beforehand.

Thanks for all you've done to help fight this misguided legislation. It's looking good, but we can't let up now.

Ben

P.S. -- Not in the US? Unfortunately, you shouldn't contact the senate, but please forward this on to anyone you know in the states, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation has put together a petition to get your message to the US State Department. You can sign that here:

This is too funny.  (or it would be if the situation wasn't so horrific.) The captain of that sinking cruise ship, is now claiming.  "He tripped and fell
into a lifeboat."  That is his explanation for how he ended up in a lifeboat, when he called the Coast
Guard, to report the incident.

Boy if SNL doesn't latch onto that one.  They are truly going to "miss the boat."

This begs to use the line "how convenient."

It was lucky he didn't 'trip and fall' into the sea, eh!?

His story has turned more times than the tide...  ::)

He looks very handsome there!

I have to say, I know who Adam Lambert is but he's not that popular here.. I think just becasue he didn;t get the publicity at the start as he did in the US.

He is probably going to do some shows with "Queen this year.  I think he will become much better
known on your side of the pond then.  He just spent the past year writing most of the songs on his new
album "Trespassing."  It is going to be released on March 20th.  He has had his single "Better than I know myself," from the album, out for about three weeks now.  It is great.  The people that have heard it, are giving it rave reviews.  After all with a voice like his..why not?  He is the male version of Adele.
Roger Taylor, the drummer of Queen, said he had "a one in a hundred million voice,"*  Since they asked him to appear with them at the EMAs, Roger and Brian said "the phone has not stopped ringing."  Evidently there is great demand for them to do some dates together.  It seems, from what I read.  It is going to happen some time this year..  I have a linc somewhere to the EMA performance.  Queen received the Global Icon Award.  It was a stupifying appearance.  The best they have had since poor Freddie passed.  IMO.

* Roger had just spent the last year with an online promo, trying to find a new singer to be, the new front man since last parting with the former singer of Bad Company.  He found a new young man from Canada, who is quite like Freddie in his voice.  I guess that he was not as charismatic as Adam however.  He is a good singer though.  Adam is a veritable force onstage.  He is not just a singer, he is a performer.  Sings dances, and interacts in his own special way.
